SÃO CAETANO DE ODIVELAS, PARÁ, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 7, 2025 Woman was murdered in a snack shop across from Praça Três Poderes. She was identified as Mayane Favacho Moraes, a resident of the Marabazinho neighborhood. Four armed men arrived in a vehicle and opened fire on Mayane. She tried to run and hide inside the shop, but her efforts were in vain – she fell dead to the ground. The entire incident took place in front of her little daughter, who fortunately was not harmed. That is, except for the psychological trauma.

According to police information, Mayane, along with her extended family, was involved in the illegal drug trade. One of the most likely investigative hypotheses is that this was a settling of scores. Her brother, nicknamed ‘Neném’, was allegedly murdered in a similar manner.
