Rose took her seven-year-old son to school in the morning and then went to the gym. After returning home, she reportedly found her father tied up. According to the findings so far, Edenilson then restrained her, taped her mouth shut, and struck her several times in the head with a hammer. The woman died at the scene. Her father later managed to free himself and flee the house.
According to local media, Rose and Edenilson had been separated for approximately four years and had a son together. People from the area said that Edenilson allegedly refused to accept the breakup. Police are investigating this information as one possible connection to the attack.
