INDONESIA Woman, mother of 4 children, went into the river just to wash her feet when a crocodile attacked her. The death grip of its jaws, the lack of oxygen underwater and the crocodile’s death rolls she had almost no chance of surviving. The video shows the aftermath of this attack, with locals trying to at least salvage her body so they can give her a proper burial.
Several local people said the situation is very unusual. Crocodiles do live in the area, but their presence in the clear water of a river like this is exceptional. Their natural habitat is murky water where they can camouflage themselves well.
