BRAZIL – MARCH 2, 2026 Woman working as a teacher suffered a sudden cardiac event on the street. Out of nowhere, she collapsed while walking and fell to the ground. A crowd of passersby immediately gathered around her and tried to provide first aid. But their efforts were in vain, and she died.

If you ever find yourself as a witness in a similar situation, it is important to act very quickly. In situations like these, seconds can be the deciding factor. Immediately call the emergency services number and, if the person has no pulse, start chest compressions. If there are more people present, take initiative and divide these tasks among them, and take turns performing chest compressions.
