KANDAL PROVINCE, CAMBODIA – DECEMBER 23, 2023 54-year-old Prak Pov from Thmei village was murdered at a guesthouse where a male suspect had reportedly taken her. According to available information, he strangled her there. Her body was not discovered until the following afternoon, partially undressed. It had therefore been lying in the room for approximately 24 hours before anyone noticed what had happened.

Police subsequently arrested the suspect. According to the original source, he is believed to be the same man who recently shot and killed a married couple.
