Woman fried after coming into contact with high voltage

SHIVPURI, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA – APRIL 3, 2026 Tragic accident occurred in the Lukwasa area near the town of Kolaras. A tractor with a trailer, which was on its way to collect straw, hit a low-hanging high-voltage power line. Long metal pipes were attached to the trailer and came into contact with the electrical wires, causing a powerful electric shock.

During the incident, one female passenger’s clothing caught fire, and a seven-year-old child was also severely affected. Both suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Two other people were seriously burned but survived and were transported to the hospital. Police are investigating the case and have launched standard procedures, including autopsies of the victims.
