ENUGU STATE, NIGERIA Nigerian woman was attacked by an angry mob at Polly Junction after allegedly attempting to steal someone else’s child. The mob showed her no mercy, stripping her naked and beating her severely.
Unfortunately, child abductions are relatively common in Nigeria. There is a black market where children are sold to childless couples or, in worse cases, into slavery or sexual exploitation. There are also cases where abducted children have been murdered in black magic rituals. Some sources also report illegal trade in children’s organs.
