Woman punished for breaking favela laws

BRAZIL Woman broke the laws of the favela in which she lives. Unlike the rest of the state, the gang that controls the favela handles the infractions, not the justice system. Punishments tend to be physical, and the death penalty is no exception. This woman is beaten by a group of young gangsters who have been put in charge.
