GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR – FEBRUARY 5, 2026 Woman waiting at an informal bus stop was hit by a speeding car. The direct impact threw her several feet into the air. She died at the scene.
Authorities are now investigating the incident. So far, it appears that excessive speed caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
