CHINA – NOVEMBER 28, 2022 Woman suddenly loses her balance while riding a moped, falls, and hits her head hard. This causes her to suffer a post-traumatic seizure, during which she uncontrollably shakes on the road. The incident was captured by a security camera.
What is particularly shocking is the reaction of the witnesses, who took no action to provide her with first aid. One woman simply walks past, while a man standing on a motorcycle at the side of the road acts as if it has nothing to do with him and eventually rides away as well.
In similar situations, always provide first aid. Failure to provide it may constitute a criminal offense in most countries around the world. The most important thing is to call the emergency services and protect the accident victim from passing drivers who may not notice her. It is not recommended to handle a person having a seizure in any way or try to stop the seizure. Only remove dangerous objects from the person’s surroundings that they could injure themselves on.
