GUACHACA, SANTA MARTA, MAGDALENA, COLOMBIA – DECEMBER, 2024 Kelly Yohana Charris Brito, 21, tragically lost her life in a traffic accident on the Troncal del Caribe Highway. She was riding her motorcycle when, under unclear circumstances, she collided with another vehicle.

The impact was devastating—Kelly was thrown several meters into the air, and upon hitting the asphalt, she sustained multiple injuries across her body, resulting in her immediate death. Although several bystanders attempted to provide first aid, there was nothing they could do to save her.
The exact cause of the accident was never disclosed. Kelly lived in the Timayuí area and left behind two young children.
