MARECHAL DEODORO, ALAGOAS, BRAZIL – AUGUST 9, 2025 In the forest of Residencial Gislene Matheus, in the Baixa da Sapa area, the body of a young man was found. His head had been smashed with a blunt object so violently that his brain matter was visible. The victim had no identification on him, but several distinctive tattoos on his body could help with identification.
Residents of nearby homes provided no information to the police. Authorities believe the locals are afraid of retaliation and therefore choose not to speak. As a result, a call has been made for anyone who saw or heard anything, or who may have any information, to contact a special hotline at 181, which is set up for anonymous reporting of crimes.
