FUNDACIÓN, MAGDALENA, COLOMBIA – AUGUST 29, 2024 Coraima Gutiérrez, 29, was traveling on her Suzuki DR 150 motorcycle when two armed men stopped the motorcycle next to her. They pulled out a gun and shot her three times in her chest. They then immediately drove away from the scene.

Coraima did not die immediately, but none of the witnesses were able to give her good first aid. She was already dead when emergency services arrived.
The murder took place in front of the Grand Fairgrounds. The motive is still unknown, but it’s possible the assassins mistook her for someone else. Coraima had no criminal history or gang affiliation.
