GRAMAME, JOÃO PESSOA, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 19, 2024 When neighbours heard screaming from the apartment of 20-year-old Hailia Vitória Barbosa da Silva, they immediately went to see what was going on. They found her lying in the bathroom, stabbed in a pool of blood and dying. Although they were on the scene almost immediately, there was no chance to save her life. She died during transport to the hospital.

The prime suspect in the murder is her boyfriend. Just minutes before the incident, she posted on her Instagram profile of them drinking alcohol together. Even the security camera in the house caught him leaving the premises in the morning.
