In Bangladesh and other parts of Asia, buses have a special worker called a bus helper. These are usually young boys who earn money this way to support their families. Their job includes helping passengers board and disembark, shouting the names of stops, guiding the driver through narrow alleys, signaling the driver when to leave, maintaining order, and helping with loading and unloading luggage.
