FEIRA DE SANTANA, BAHIA, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 16, 2024 Karla Rocha Santos, 20, was murdered with more than 10 shots on Cosme de Farias Street in the Baraúnas neighbourhood. A group of armed men broke into her house and started shooting without asking. All this in front of the eyes of a witness, her friend with a hearing impairment. But the gunmen spared her life. The attack was directed only at Karla.
The police have still not been able to clarify the motive. The identity of the perpetrators remains unknown.
