RUSSIA – OCTOBER, 2013 The man was taken to hospital with serious burns to his right hand. It was assessed as a 4th degree burn, which is the highest possible. It’s practically a charring of the tissue. Salvage of such burned tissue is no longer possible and the doctors’ job is only to prevent infection and relieve the pain.
