DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, 2017 A 6-year-old girl, Eunesi Martínez Pedroche, was strangled to death by her stepfather, José Manuel Caraballo Cedeño. His motive was revenge against her mother after they had an argument and she filed a complaint against him with the police. He disposed of little Eunesi’s body by throwing it into a stream, where it was found floating on the surface.
