INDIA Dhanika Tripura, 6, suffers from leukemia, which has caused her eyes to bulge out of her head and even bleed while the infection was occurring. She lives with her mother in poor conditions in a small village. Her mother could not afford treatment, and so the disease has reached this horrific stage.
Good people raised $22,000 in a charity fundraiser for little Dhanika, which enabled her to afford her chemotherapy treatment. Doctors even managed to save her eyesight.
