TOGLIATI, RUSSIA – OCTOBER, 2007 A planted 1 kg TNT bomb exploded in a bus full of people. Killing 8 and injuring more than 53.
It was first thought that a CNG gas bomb exploded in the bus. But this possibility was immediately ruled out because the bus was running on diesel. This confirmed the suspicion that it was a terrorist attack.
The eight victims included a child. Among the injured were 20 college students. The Russian government blamed the Chechens.
