9 people were shot dead in port by heavily armed hitmen

ECUADOR At least 9 people were killed when gunmen attacked a port in northern Ecuador near the border with Colombia. Around 30 armed men arrived at the port in boats and cars at a time when there were 1500-2000 people in the port. The reason for the attack was the fact that the fishermen were paying security to a rival cartel.
