CIUDAD BOLÍVAR, BOLÍVAR STATE, VENEZUELA – SEPTEMBER 14, 2025 Devastating traffic accident occurred on September 14, 2025, in Ciudad Bolívar, Bolívar State, Venezuela, leaving three people dead and one seriously injured. A Renault Mégane collided with a Toron motorcycle on Paseo Orinoco, specifically in the Cruz del Perdón area.
The victims were identified as Jairo Hurtado (27), Nazareth Jiménez (28), and Izaura Farías (37). The sole survivor, César Morillo (38), was transported to Ruiz y Páez Hospital in critical condition.
Early reports indicate that the occupants of the Renault were allegedly under the influence of alcohol. After striking the motorcycle, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a fixed object, intensifying the deadly impact.
Another version of the incident suggests that the Renault Mégane was involved in an illegal street race against a white Hyundai Tucson, which allegedly fled the scene after the crash. Witnesses claim that the car lost control at high speed before hitting the motorcycle. Authorities are currently investigating both possibilities to determine the exact cause of the accident.
