SOUTH AFRICA – OCTOBER 16, 2025 Targeted shooting occurred outside the Park Rynie Spar store. Bongani “Steh” Mnguni, 42, was sitting outside the store with his back to the road when two armed men exited a vehicle and opened fire on him multiple times. The attackers then fled the scene.
Bongani had an extensive criminal record, including a previous murder charge. Investigators believe his criminal background may have been connected to the targeted killing. The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made so far.
