Woman assassinated on busy street in Guatemala

ESCUINTLA, GUATEMALA – NOVEMBER 25, 2025 Woman identified as Dinora Isabel Castillo died in a hitman attack on Quinta Avenida. He fired several shots at her from a pistol despite there being many witnesses and it being broad daylight. He then fled the scene on a pre-arranged motorcycle with an accomplice. People who witnessed the incident rushed to help, but Dinora showed no signs of life. Authorities have not confirmed a motive yet. The investigation is ongoing.
