CUAUTITLÁN IZCALLI, MEXICO – DECEMBER 1, 2025 Armed attack took place inside the “Ultra Clean +” laundry, which is part of the Arkana Norte shopping center. Three hitmen burst inside and immediately began shooting at two customers inside. They fired at least 40 times and then fled the scene. Both men died on the spot.
The victims were identified as 31-year-old Emilio Quintero and 21-year-old Juan Pablo Quintero. It appears that both are related to former drug lord and founder of the now-defunct Guadalajara Cartel, Rafael Caro Quintero. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.
Police are currently working intensively to identify the perpetrators and determine their motive. A surviving witness, a 23-year-old man who managed to hide behind a washing machine during the attack, gave police a detailed statement about the course of events.
