SANTA LUZIA DO PARUÁ, MARANHÃO, BRAZIL – DECEMBER, 2025 Small Brazilian town of Santa Luzia do Paruá is still recovering from a murder that shook the entire community. Two hitmen killed the local teacher Carlos Oliveira, known as Carlinhos, on the street in broad daylight. The incident was captured by a security camera. The motive is not yet known. According to some reports, the crime took place in the presence of his mother and sister.
