SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL – MAY 11, 2026 Violent murder occurred in which an unidentified man was shot in one of the local neighborhoods. His body was found on a staircase in the Areal area of the Santa Cruz district, where security forces were later called.
According to initial information, the victim suffered several gunshot wounds to the head. The police immediately closed off the area and secured the crime scene so that investigators could carry out the necessary examination. The body was subsequently taken for further investigation. The motive for the attack and the identity of the perpetrators are not yet known.
