Pedestrian fatally struck by inattentive driver

RAWALPINDI, PUNJAB, PAKISTAN – SEPTEMBER 19, 2026 Kifayat Hussain Kiyani died from serious injuries after being struck by a Suzuki Mehran on Harley Street. The accident occurred near Dr. A.Q. Khan College. Kiyani was taken for medical treatment after the accident but later succumbed to his injuries. The incident remains under police investigation. According to available CCTV footage, the driver of the car appears to have been inattentive or distracted while driving.
