Motorcyclist killed in collision with semi-truck

GUAYAQUIL, GUAYAS, ECUADOR – OCTOBER 22, 2026 Motorcyclist died in a traffic accident on Vía a la Costa at around 8 a.m. According to local media, the motorcyclist was initially struck by another car, causing him to fall into the lane in which a semi-truck with a trailer was traveling. The truck then ran over the man, who died at the scene. The truck driver fled the scene of the accident.
