HAI PHONG, VIETNAM – OCTOBER 26, 2026 16-year-old student died in a collision with a truck at an intersection. The girl, identified by local media only by the initials T.T.B.L., was born in 2010 and attended the 11th grade of high school.
The accident occurred at around 6:38 a.m. near the intersection of Mỹ Liệt Street and National Highway No. 10 in the Lưu Kiếm urban area. The student was riding her bicycle toward the main road when she collided with a truck. After falling onto the road, she ended up underneath the vehicle and died at the scene.
The truck driver was a man born in 1987. According to local media, he tested negative for alcohol and drugs. The relevant authorities began investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident. Based on surveillance camera footage, the most likely scenario so far is that the girl was in the truck driver’s blind spot.
