LAS PALMILLAS, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – DECEMBER, 2012 30-year-old Jazmín Ramos was found dead on her bed. She had bruises on her body and strangulation marks on her neck.
The incident occurred in the small village of Las Palmillas near Hato Mayor del Rey. Her 42-year-old husband, José Ramírez, confessed to the crime. He said he had strangled her in her sleep with a mosquito net cord. He also confessed to having tried to poison her with rat poison in the past.
