IMACULADA, BAYEUX, BRAZIL – JANUARY 1, 2024 Two women were traveling together on one motorcycle. Neither was wearing a helmet and both were probably drunk from the New Year’s Eve party. The driver of the motorcycle failed to control the steering and hit the pavement. This literally catapulted both women.
Jaisla Emily da Silva Andrade, 18, suffered a serious head injury but survived. Her passenger, 24-year-old Larisse Lima Costa, suffered a serious leg injury but also survived.
