NEW ORLEANS, USA – NOVEMBER 15, 2022 Police were called to the Caesars Superdome stadium where an armed man was said to be disrupting security near the ticket booth. At the scene, they found a 62-year-old homeless man, Jimmy Deeson, sitting on the ground and refusing to leave. Deeson then took an aggressive stance, holding a walking stick and a knife in his hands. The officers instructed the man to drop the weapons, but at that point he ran towards the officers. Officer Romelo Noel responded immediately and shot the man in the arm. The homeless man was taken to hospital and survived his injuries. Police said Deeson has a violent past and has even been convicted of murder.
