45-year-old woman tried to stop an argument between several people in the parking lot of a bar. When one of the participants tried to drive his car away, she stood in front of his vehicle to stop him. This cost her her life as he quite deliberately hit her. The woman remained wedged under the vehicle and was dragged a whopping 1.1 miles (1.9 kilometers). The asphalt literally peeled the flesh off her body.
