ITABUNA, BAHIA, BRAZIL – APRIL 23, 2016 12-year-old girl identified as Gabriela Silva Santos was the victim of a sexually motivated assault. She was raped and strangled to death. Her dead body was found in a wooded area in the Santa Inês neighbourhood.
