JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – JANUARY 19, 2025 Brutal shooting outside a pub in the Hillbrow area, on the corner of Bree and Mooi streets, ended in death and shook the local community.
The shooter got into a drunken argument with another man, whereupon he pulled out a pistol and fired several shots at him. He fell dead to the ground. The shooter then, for reasons that are unfathomable, also shot a bystander who was not involved in their argument.
The perpetrator fled immediately after the crime and police are actively searching for him. The motive for the attack is not yet known and authorities are appealing to the public to provide any information.
