MANILA, PHILIPPINES – DECEMBER 24, 2016 Jane Hamtig was stabbed to death by her boyfriend, Michael Mendoza, on the day of her 21st birthday. He had received unpleasant news – that she had cheated on him with another guy and was two months pregnant. That led him to commit this terrible act. The next day, after he had cooled down and realized what he had done, he went to the police to turn himself in.
