ITABUNA, BAHIA, BRAZIL – MARCH 17, 2013 Woman was murdered on Pedro Jorge Street in the Pedro Jerônimo neighbourhood. Witnesses said that two masked men on a motorcycle approached her and started shooting without hesitation. She was hit in the back and head and fell to the ground instantly dead.
The identity of the victim has never been released. It is not even clear if she was identified. The killers were never caught, so police can only assume they had a motive related to gang activity.
