BORNO, NIGERIA Terrorists from the organization ISWAP (Islamic State’s West Africa Province), which is the African branch of ISIS, attacked a small Christian village called Angowa in the Borno province in northern Nigeria. The result was a massacre of the poor villagers, who didn’t even have a chance to defend themselves.
The northern part of Nigeria, especially in the regions of Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa, is notorious for the activities of terrorist groups – especially ISIS and Boko Haram. Although the Nigerian government is trying to actively fight them, they still have no control there at all. These regions thus remain the most dangerous in Nigeria, and in all of Africa.
All videos and content published on this platform related to ISIS are in no way intended as a promotion of terrorism or this organization. We strongly condemn all forms of terrorism and extremist activities, including those associated with ISIS.
ISIS does not represent Islam. Islam is a religion of peace and compassion, whose values and teachings have nothing to do with the violent acts committed by this organization. Our goal is to inform and educate, not to spread hatred or support violence.
