HIAWASSEE, GEORGIA, USA – MARCH 8, 2025 On the summit of Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, two dead bodies of two young men were found. Both had gunshot wounds. They were soon identified as 19-year-old twin brothers Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim.
The preliminary investigation into their deaths has so far brought more questions than answers. The most likely scenario seems to be a joint suicide. However, their family strictly rejects this theory. They say the brothers had big plans for the future and were never strange or conflict-prone. They were even planning a family visit and had bought plane tickets, which also undermines the suicide theory. They reportedly had never been to Bell Mountain before.
