PAPUA, INDONESIA – JUNE 2, 2025 From Class IIB Nabire Prison in central Indonesian Papua, 19 prisoners escaped. They took advantage of the element of surprise and their numerical superiority, running past the guards, who were unable to do anything about the situation. Several of them were armed with machetes and stabbing tools. One of the guards was injured. Incident was captured by security camera.
