YAGUATE, SAN CRISTÓBAL, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MARCH 18, 2025 In a ravine in the La Ceiba area, the dead body of a woman was found. She was quickly identified as 30-year-old Indiana Muñoz Lara. She had been reported missing to the police three days earlier after failing to return home to her three children.

Closer examination of her body ruled out the assumption of a tragic accident. The body showed signs of violence, including head injuries and trauma to other parts.
Initial police investigations indicated that it might have been a revenge killing. Indiana was reportedly in a personal dispute with a woman from the Semana Santa community, where she lived. However, no further information about any arrests or specific suspects has been released.
