FEIRA DE SANTANA, BRAZIL – MARCH 7, 2014 The body of a young woman was found dead near the Jacuípe River in the Pedra do Descamço neighbourhood on Rua Nova. She has been identified as missing 20 year old Tamires Camilo de Oliveira.
Her parents said that the day before, they had seen from their window four men forcibly loading her into a car right in front of their house. The main suspect was her jealous ex-boyfriend, who often threatened her.
Tamires had three gunshot wounds on her body. One on the buttocks and one on the leg. This suggests that she tried to escape. The third shot was fatal at close range to the head.
