GWARINPA, NIGERIA – JUNE 17, 2025 Dead female body was found in a hotel room on 3rd Avenue in Gwarinpa, which is a suburb of the capital city Abuja. She was partially naked and lying on the bed with her hands tied behind her back, while her knees were on the floor.
The victim was identified as Aladi Offikwu Johnson, known to friends as Tessy. She checked into the hotel the previous night accompanied by an unknown man. He was later seen leaving the hotel without her.
Although the autopsy report is not yet available, authorities state that the cause of her death was strangulation. It cannot be ruled out that it was just an accident during rough sex.
The case is now being intensively investigated by the police, who are searching for the man who accompanied her. The chief commissioner issued an important warning, especially to young women, to be cautious when making contact with strangers and always share their location with trusted friends or family members. The police in the area are also urging all hotels to increase security measures.
