The victims were Andrés Felipe González Rodríguez and Karen Vanessa Saldarriaga García. According to witnesses, the woman tried to protect her partner with her own body during the attack. The man died at the scene, while the woman succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the hospital.
Security cameras captured the entire attack. After the shooting, the perpetrator and an accomplice attempted to flee on a motorcycle, but police apprehended them shortly afterward. Investigators are now determining the motive for the crime and the other circumstances surrounding the case.
