AMACHARA, ABIA STATE, NIGERIA, 2020 By the roadside, across from the Assemblies of God Church Umuokpara, the dead body of a woman was found. She had been dumped there and wrapped in a plastic bag. Her identity could not be determined.
Further police investigation revealed that she likely fell victim to ritualists who practice occult black magic rituals. The woman was believed to be pregnant at the time of her death, which may have drawn the attention of the ritualists.
