JORGE CHÁVEZ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, LIMA, PERU – NOVEMBER 18, 2022 LATAM’s Airbus A380 neo took off from Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport on its scheduled domestic flight 2213 to Juliaca. As the plane started to move on the runway, a fire truck came in its path and crossed its path. There was a collision. Two firefighters died on the spot, a third died a week later in hospital. 40 passengers on the plane were injured. The plane flipped over on its right side and caught fire.
