ITUMBIARA, GOIÁS, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 7, 2026 Brutal attack targeted a 25-year-old pregnant woman. The incident occurred in front of a bar on the busy Avenida Tancredo Neves, where the woman became the victim of violent actions by a man arriving in a silver car.
According to witnesses, a verbal argument erupted between them and quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. The attacker allegedly struck the woman, after which she threw a glass at him. The situation escalated further when the man drew a firearm and shot at her multiple times, with one bullet hitting her in the chest.
The woman was found bleeding on the sidewalk, and a 9mm bullet was recovered at the scene. Emergency responders provided immediate first aid and transported her to São Marcos Hospital, where she continued receiving treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the attack and are searching for the perpetrator, who fled the scene. The incident has left local residents in shock.
