IRAQ Video shows an attack on Iraqi soldiers by terrorists claiming to be Ansar al-Islam. They surprise them, jump out of the car and start shooting at them in cold blood. The two Iraqi soldiers fall dead to the ground.
Ansar al-Islam is an Islamist militant group founded in 2001 in Iraqi Kurdistan. Its goal is to establish an Islamic state based on radical interpretations of Sharia law. The group was originally focused on fighting against the Iraqi Kurdish autonomy and the regime of Saddam Hussein, but after the 2003 invasion of Iraq, its activities expanded to include fighting against coalition forces and the Iraqi government.
