Armed attack by group of hitmen in Ecuador

GUAYAQUIL, GUAYAS PROVINCE, ECUADOR – SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 Group of hitmen carried out an armed attack on a group of people in the Cerro del Carmen area. They arrived in a pickup truck, jumped out, and started shooting without asking questions. The attack left one man dead and two seriously injured. The identity of the victim has not been released, but it is known that he was of Venezuelan nationality. The police are still investigating the case intensively.
